Context Sharing

Just like human assistants, AI agents naturally store information, files, and conversation history in their memory for later use. This allows them to build on top of past discussions and maintain context over time. However, when handling business operations and confidential enterprise workflows, you need precise control over who sees that data and how long it sticks around.

Understanding the Sharing Levels

By clicking the Context Sharing icon in the top right of your workspace, you can dynamically switch between three distinct privacy settings:

  • Personal level (Default): This is your baseline secure setting. The conversation and any uploaded files are stored safely in your private workspace. Only you and your active AI agent have access to this information.

  • Team level: Use this option when collaborating on broader initiatives. This opens up the conversation's context, allowing your human colleagues and other workspace agents to reference the data.

  • Temporary chat: This is your maximum-privacy setting for highly sensitive or fleeting tasks. When you select Temporary chat, the AI agent's long-term memory is entirely bypassed. The moment you close the thread, the chat is deleted immediately and permanentlyβ€”leaving no digital footprint behind.

How to Manage

  1. Select the first icon in the upper right section of the platform interface

  2. Select your desired Context Sharing

    • Personal Level (default)

    • Team Level

    • Temporary Chat

Quick Best Practices

  • Leave it on Personal for your standard daily operations, drafting, and general workflows.

  • Switch to Team level when you want to avoid re-uploading spreadsheets or re-explaining context to colleagues working on the same project.

  • Deploy Temporary chats when processing highly confidential records, copying in temporary access keys, or discussing sensitive data that should never be stored in platform logs.
