Starting a Collab Chat

You can bring a colleague into any active conversation in two ways:

  1. The Menu Option: Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of your chat window and select Add Member.

  1. The "@" Mention: Type @followed by your team member's name directly into the message box (e.g., @Alex).

Once a Collab Chat is active, it creates a localized, shared memory space for everyone participating in that specific thread.

  • Unified Context: Any files uploaded, web searches conducted, or insights uncovered by an AI agent within the Collab Chat are instantly accessible to all human members in that specific thread—no re-uploading or repeating context required.

  • The Tagging Rule:

⚠️ Important: Once you are in collaboration mode, you must explicitly tag an AI worker (for example, @Rachel) to prompt a response from them. Tagging ensures the agent knows exactly when to step in and execute a task versus when to let human colleagues converse freely.
